"Some Internet sites, covering news of Transcarpathian region, has reported that law enforcement officers allegedly have arrested a man suspected of the attempted terrorist attack near the administrative building of Uzhgorod city district court. We inform you that this information is incorrect" – such a short rebuttal appeared on the official website of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in Transcarpathian region.
The false information of "sensational" nature has once again been shared by an alien to the concepts of "journalism" and "journalistic ethics" private internet-project of one of Vinogradovo restaurateurs. Being a relative of the First Deputy Chairman of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration, the head of the Party of Regions in the Transcarpathian regional council Ivan Bushko and, accordingly, having unsupervised access to the official daily police reports on the crime situation in the region, the person, however, does not have a clue how to properly dispose illegally received information. And the police apparently do not know what to do with the "internet active" relative of the Transcarpathian "regional" official.
One of the aspects of the problem is the spread of unverified information in the environment of the professional media.
