The exposition, dedicated to the most popular sport was opened in the Transcarpathian Regional Museum for the first time in the history of region on May 18.
The exhibition, which is created by the History Department, covers the period from 1893 year up to nowadays. The Football historian Stepan Selmenskyi told that a number of historian materials: mostly pictures, pennants, sports awards, football posters, programs and many others are represented there. Most of them are gathered and transferred to the museum by the prominent sportsman, the author of the first monograph on the history of Transcarpathian sports Vasyl Fedak.
All the willing may get acquainted with all the formation periods of most popular game in the region until the end of the Football Championship Euro 2012 finals.
