International protocols are signing today on the Ukrainian-Slovak border

The traditional Neighborhood Day which has gathered visitor from Ukraine and Slovakia is held today at the frontier point ‘Malyi Bereznyi – Ublia’ on the Ukrainian-Slovakia border. The Joint Action Programme between Priashiv self-governing region and Transcarpathian Regional State Administration for the period from May 2012 to May 2013 in the framework of the event holding, according to the press service of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration. The Joint Executive Protocol was signed on the same terms between Kosice self-governing region and Transcarpathian Regional State Administration. The Agreement on Cross-border cooperation was also singed betweenthe village Zabrod in Velykyi Bereznyi district and the village Ulich in Priashiv region of Slovakia and more several settlements of the border regions.

According to the Head of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration, such cooperation has a striking embodiment in the Slovak culture center which was opened last year in Uzhgorod. The next step, supported by the Preshov self-governing region, is the arrangement of the Ukrainian culture center in Slovakia.
