Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov demands maximum control over the state of environment in the regions of the chairmen of regional state administrations. Moreover, the effectiveness of their work will be determined not only by economic indicators, but also by the ecological situation in regions where they work. This Mykola Azarov said during today’s selective conference, reports the Government portal.
In accordance with the statement of the Prime Minister, the heads of regional state administrations will be responsible for: illegal logging, dumps, illegal construction, pollution of air and water in excess of the standards.
