Today in Ukraine a pilot project of the implementation of reference prices on medications for hypertension has been launched. We remind, the Prime Minister insisted on the introduction of the pilot project from specific date – May 1.
According to UNN, with reference to the Deputy Minister of Healthcare, Raisa Moiseenko, the project consists of two phases, the first and beginning of the second one is planned to be introduced this year. The second stage consists of the introduction of the compensation of the drugs cost mechanism. For this purpose, said the deputy minister, 10-20 million UAH will be put into the budget. A similar system of compensation is planned to use for patients with diabetes.
