Pursuant to the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Hungary and the Government of Ukraine on Water Management in the boundary waters and in accordance with the Work Plan of the Ukrainian-Hungarian working group of experts on the protection of water quality for the period April 2012 – March 2013, the experts of the State Ecological Inspectorate laboratories in Transcarpathian region and Zatisyanskiy Inspectorate for Environmental Protection and Water Management (Hungary) on April 24th and 25th, held a joint sampling of surface waters in the border points of control: Tisa – Vylok / Tisabech; r.Tisa – Chop / Zagon.
According to the "Order of a Ukrainian-Hungarian border waters sampling, definition, quality assessment and emergency pollution measures," Ukrainian and Hungarian experts on the premises of laboratory Zatisyansky Inspectorate for Environmental Protection and Water Management conducted analysis of samples of water from river Tisa. The parties also agreed on methods of measurement of soluble and general metals in surface waters, according to the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources of Ukraine.
