The infamous sanatorium ‘Pearl of the Carpathians’, closed in 2009, after the scandal with the poisoning of children may get a new owner. Transcarpathian Regional State Administration proposes to transfer the property to the regional property. The project of the regional council, whose developer is the management of municipal property of the Regional State Administration (RSA) ‘On taking a complex of buildings and facilities of sanatorium ‘Pearl of the Carpathians’ into a joint property of territorial communities of villages, towns, cities in the region,’ is posted on the site of administration.
The project of the solution provides preparation of an appeal to Chinadievo village council with a request to transfer the complex of buildings and facilities ‘Sanatorium ‘Pearl of the Carpathians’, located in Mukachevo district, village Carpaty, 43, into the common property of territorial communities of villages, towns and cities. The district council was offered to give consent to take ownership of ‘Pearl of the Carpathians.’
Another solution proposed by the Regional Administration is to eliminate the municipal enterprise ‘Pearl of the Carpathians.’
