The project of Vynohradov City Council named ‘Reconstruction of public lighting network in residential streets Pervomayskaya – Kommunalnaya using the latest energy saving technologies,’ was declared the winner of the All-Ukrainian competition of projects and programmes of local government development in 2011.
The resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine from March 14, 2012 provides for subventions from the state budget to finance the project – the winner of 199 thousand UAH. According to the resolution of the City Council session of March 22, co-financing of project activities from the city budget is 234 thousand UAH.
The project provides for installation of additional pillars for a line of street lighting on the Tereshkova street, installation of insulated wires on the pillars of overhead power lines, installation and connection of 126 new lanterns with modern low energy sodium lamps in Pervomayskaya street, parts of Tereshkova and Kommunalnaya streets, installation and connection of the shield counting and controlling street lighting equipped with modern machines and devices counting, monitoring and controlling the process of lighting. Implementation of these measures will allow, along with high-quality street lighting, to achieve significant energy and budget savings.
The partner of co-executor of the project is the company ‘Zakarpateelektroservis’, which has extensive experience in the reconstruction of street lighting networks and the implementation of new energy-saving technologies. The project will be implemented during April – August 2012, Novyny Vinogradіvschyny reports.
