Scientists will be exploring wooden churches of Transcarpathia

The management of the Regional State Administration has appealed to the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine asking to support research projects of the Transcarpathian Art Institute: Wooden Churches of the Ukrainians in the Carpathians and Farmstead and Interior of the Folk Housing of the Ukrainians in the Carpathians. 

The subject of the Institute researchers’ studies is farmstead and folk housing interior of our region.

Also they have been studying the architecture of wooden churches of Transcarpathia that currently are catastrophically collapsing and disappearing.

"Please support these projects in order to develop arts and crafts, theoretical basis of art history and cultural studies in the region, to implement it in the learning process, the development of art education, to form a new generations of creative and scientific intelligentsia," — the appeal of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration to the Scientific Activity and Licensing Department of the Ministry of Education of Ukraine states.
