Zakarpattya citizen injured by explosion of the tank died in hospital

On May 30 at 8:06 p.m. in Transcarpathian operational and rescue service it was reported that during gas-welding of aluminum capacity of 10 m³ in a new building in the town of Svalyava on Molodizhna street explosion had taken place.

As uzhgorod.in has already reported, as a result of the explosion a  50-year-old local welder was seriously injured. The victim was hospitalized to the intensive care unit of Svalyava Central Hospital. Unfortunately, despite all the efforts of doctors they failed to save the man’s life. He died of the injuries at 01:45 a.m.

The explosion also damaged aluminum container. Direct losses make 7225 UAH.

The detailed circumstances of the case are being found out by the competent services – informs Ministry of Emergencies in Transcarpathian region.
