“Zakarpatgaz” asks to shut the valves of gas appliances in the villages of Uzhgorod district due to the works for restoration of gas supply

On September 28, at 20.26, the emergency dispatch service of the "Zakarpatgaz" PJSC received a report about a damaged medium pressure gas pipeline in the village of Dubrivka, Uzhgorod district.

According to the chief engineer of the "Zakarpatgaz" PJSC Viktor Vodzinsky, the medium pressure gas pipeline was damaged during the unauthorized excavation carried out by workers of an agricultural company. As a result of the accident, residents of 2,298 households in the villages of Dubrivka, Lyakhovtsi, Khudlyovo, Andriyivka, Haidash, Kiblyary, Patskanyovo, Irlyava, Chabanivka, Volkovo, Chertezh, Lintse, Antalovtsi, Serednye, Verkhnye Solotvyno are without gas supply. 

Repair of the damaged medium pressure gas pipeline near the village of Dubrivka continues. Specialists of Uzhgorod branch of the "Zakarpatgaz" PJSC are taking out preparatory measures for the restoration of gas supply.

In particular, the gas workers are asking the residents of the mentioned villages to shut the valves at gas appliances in the houses and upstream of the gas meters on the streets. This will allow the gas supply to be restored in the shortest possible time.

"We will be grateful for the dissemination of this information by the residents of the above-mentioned settlements among neighbors – this will allow us to carry out the work on gas supply restoration promptly and without delay. In addition, we need to come to every house for this," – Viktor Vodzinsky, the chief engineer of the "Zakarpatgaz" said.
