On July 21, 2012 the President of Ukraine (2005-2010), leader of the Orange Revolution Viktor Yushchenko, makes the traditional climbing Hoverla dedicated to the date of the Ukraine’s Sovereignty Declaration signing.
Together with Viktor Yushchenko will also rise up at the highest point of Ukraine other leaders, such as a leader of the Ukrainian People’s Party Yurii Kostenko. The representatives of the Transcarpathian UNP and youth public organization Ukrainian National Youth will also join the traditional hike-climb.
They are planning to camp under the highest peak of the Ukrainian Carpathians, hike-climbing Hoverla, where will take place leaders’ speeches and instructions as well as cleaning up the route from the garbage that left people without environmental culture.
Note: Declaration of the State Sovereignty of Ukraine was actually a program of an independent state construction. The Declaration has provided the direction and impetus to the process of national states on the territory of falling Communist empire formation.
