Young organists are preparing a concert at the Philharmonic for Mother’s Day

For several years now, the Transcarpathian Regional Philharmonic has been supporting the project "Children’s Organ Philharmonic", where talented young performers have the opportunity to perform at the main stage of our region and to show their achievements in mastering one of the oldest and most mysterious musical instruments – the organ. This fine tradition was initiated by the soloist of the Philharmonic, Honored Artist of Ukraine Natalia Visich. And it was continued by one of her best students and successors, Katerina Hazho.

This time, the performance of young talents is devoted to a wonderful holiday – the Mother’s Day. So, on May 10, in the Transcarpathian Regional Philharmonic, there will be a concert "Ukrainian Musical Frescoes" featuring Veronica Hazho, Anastasia Grinevich, Alina Deket, Anastasia Huzynets, Oleksandra Antalovtsi, Svyatoslava-Ivanna Kovtyk, as well as soloist of the Philharmonic, Katerina Hazho (organ) and the chamber orchestra (director – Honored Artist of Ukraine Vladislav Yurosh). The program includes the best pieces of organ music by Ukrainian composers from the Baroque to the modern time. The audience will hear the Concert Symphony by D. Bortniansky, I. Marton’s Pasakalia, L. Dichko’s Carpathian Frescos, the works of I. Shamo and contemporary Ukrainian authors S. Ostrova, S. Lunyova, S. Leontiev. The event will be hosted by the music historian Natalia PITSUR. The beginning is at 18.30.
