Young artists presented their graduation art projects

In Uzhgorod "Ilko Gallery" the presentation of graduation projects by students of Transcarpathian Art Institute and the College of Arts continues.

In total, 89 works are presented in the gallery today – these are works of students who are applying for Bachelor’s and Specialist’s degrees in the fields of design, painting, decorative metal, wood and ceramics. The works are evaluated by the commission headed by the President of the National Academy of Arts of Ukraine Andriy Chebykin.

Some projects are made on request of local government bodies.

– Sometimes village councils ask to prepare a project for reconstruction of abandoned territory, kindergartens, other facilities. Such projects are also presented here today – the vice-rector for educational work of the TAI Marina Kyiak said.

The head of the region Oleksandr Ledyda also came to see graduates’ works.

– Today we have the opportunity to see the works of graduates – designers and artists. The demand for such specialists today is big, especially in the private sector. For our part, we do everything so that qualified personnel were able to get the first job, which is in many ways crucial to the future career development of young Transcarpathians. – Oleksandr Ledyda said.
