The reason of yesterday’s self-immolation, committed on Narodna square in front of the RSA building by a 50-year-old pensioner, second group disabled with heart disease, may be a protest against unknown people trying to take away from him his land in the Chervenytsya neighborhood. They had repeatedly offered to buy the land, then threatened to take it away. But the man refused.

Now, the pensioner, diagnosed with thermal burns of 50% of the trunk, face and upper extremities,
