When winter covers the earth with white blanket, wild animals in the forest have little or no food.
Conservationists help them to survive in the cold season.
The National Park "Synevyr" staff did everything possible so that wild animals survived the winter well and were not starving. Throughout the year, they have been carefully preparing for the cold weather and taken a number of conservation measures.
The workers arranged and repaired more than 20 animal feeders, made 56 salt licks.
They harvested 13,500 forage bales, more than 11 tons of hay for animals to eat during the winter. 2.4 t of salt has been prepared for wild animals.
From 1 to 30 of November workers of national park put in the feeders a quarter of all the harvested forage, by January 1 – half of it, and by the end of February they will have put all the prepared forage.
