Tomorrow, an experimental exhibition of Slovak artists "Women of Uzhgorod" will open in the "Owl’s Nest".
The opening of the exhibition is on November 29, 2017 at 18:00 in the lecture hall of the "Owl’s Nest" (Uzhgorod, Rakoczy st., 2).
We are often reproached that "your contemporary art is incomprehensible" and that "you must be closer to people." And so we decided to get closer. Close to the inhabitants of Uzhgorod, with them and for them. And we conducted a small educational and art experiment in which ordinary passers-by create contemporary art together with artists.
The results of the experiment will be presented at the exhibition "Women of Uzhgorod", created by young, but ambitious artists Ingrid Kepkova and Victoria Lendelova (Slovakia, Kosice). They began working on it during the 2-month international artistic residence organized by the "Kublo" in February-March this year.
The exhibition will be open until Sunday, December 3, from 13.00 to 19.00, however the performance will only take place at the opening. The admission is free.
