Who will head the Transcarpathian museum?

Transcarpathian Museum of Folk Architecture and Life is without the head.

The perennial manager of the cultural institution will not be the director anymore. As a result of a rather strange procedure, Gabriela Andyal was replaced with her own subordinate, the http://voloshyna.org.ua inform. They say:

"For more than three months, the Department of Culture of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration was looking for a candidacy for the position of the director of the Transcarpathian Regional Museum of Folk Architecture and Life. 

For the first time, the competition for the position was announced on August 9.

Then it was announced two more times!!! The Competition Commission chaired by the head of the department Victoria Frolova dragged heels. Intrigues were spun around the appointment of the head of the museum… 

After the previous unsuccessful commission meeting, which took place on November 14, the repeated meeting took place on November 21. Finally, it became known that the deputy director of the Transcarpathian Regional Museum of Folk Architecture and Life, Associate Professor of History of Ukraine of UzhNU Vasyl Kotsan will occupy the position. The commission members voted for him unanimously.

The previous director of the open-air museum, Honored Worker of Ukraine Gabriela Andyal was heading the institution since 1999, and in total was working there for 35 years! There was no reason for her not to stay in the office… But, someone apparently did not like her there, and she was denied the right to participate in the competition for a formal reason. Allegedly, the submitted set of documents lacked a copy of the passport."
