We are waiting for the summer sun coming after a couple days of prolonged rain and thunderstorm. ‘Zamok’ found out what predictions make Transcarpathian meteorologists from a head of the regional meteorological forecasts’ sector Andrii Zolotariov.
So, unstable weather will persist on the territory of the region on June 15. Intermitted rains with thunderstorms are possible. Temperature remains the same 17-22 degrees during a day and 12-14 degrees at night.
‘The main frontal zone as already passed – said Andrii Zolotariov, – but the weather will not be stable for some time’.
However, the atmospheric pressure increase is expected already from June 16. A stream of warm air massed from the south will gradually flow on the regional territory. The maximum temperature will constitute 28-30 degrees during a day (sometimes even up to 30 degrees) and 16-18 degrees at night (in mountains 8-13 degrees).
Thus, weather forecasters do not foresee significant rainfalls in the next 5-7 days after June 16. ‘Only local rains in mountains are possible, mainly in the afternoon’ – foresees Andrii Zolotariev.
Therefore, meteorologists predict that there remains to wait a few days for a real opening of bathing-beach season in Transcarpathia.
