What will become of the beautiful Christmas trees after the holidays (PHOTOS)

This question was posed by a Facebook user Viktor Derda.

He wrote: "On the eve of New Year, it seems as if a coniferous forest has moved to the city, there are whole alleys of fir trees near the markets. I doubt that all of them will be sold because there are too many of them! After the New Year’s Eve, they become unwanted goods and are thrown into dump. It’s terrible! Please, people, buy artificial Christmas trees, especially since now they make them very beautiful, almost indistinguishable from real ones. And for a festive mood and coniferous smell, you can buy a small branch.

If people do not buy trees this year, maybe next year, the sellers will understand that they are not a popular commodity and stop cutting them."

Unfortunately, few people are concerned about the fate of Christmas trees after the New Year’s and Christmas holidays. Just go and look at the garbage dumps filled with trees that were used and thrown away. And here everything depends on which side you are on – preservation or destruction.
