What did the regional prosecutor Volodymyr Yanko say?

Over six months, in the cases under the prosecutors’ claims, the court opened proceedings in amount of over UAH 203 million and granted the prosecutor’s claims in amount of over UAH 31 million.

The courts issued orders for the payment of debt on wages in the amount of about UAH 700 thousand and granted the prosecutor’s claims for the protection of children’s rights in amount of over UAH 800 thousand.

As a result of the prosecutor’s claims, rights of 247 citizens were reinstated in court.

In defense of the interests of the state, the courts upheld claims in amount of over UAH 29 million, 210 hectares of land worth over UAH 14 million was returned and the illegal provision of land with a total area of 235 hectares worth about UAH 7 million was prevented by courts.

Over six months, the sum under the decisions that entered into force is about UAH 20 million, and the sum of actually enforced judicial decisions ​​during the same period, including those from previous years, is about UAH 21 million, which accounts for 105%. 

In the priority areas, 51 indictments on corruption, 56 – on crimes committed in the budget system were sent to court, and four organized groups were exposed.

Recovery of damages under completed criminal proceedings in amount of over UAH 11 million was ensured, the share of recovered damages is about 60%, the amount of seized property is about UAH 7 million, and the amount of filed claims is over UAH 3 million.

Observance of citizens’ civil rights was ensured. Currently, the courts acquitted only one person, while last year, the courts acquitted 6 people.

While carrying out procedural control. the prosecutors canceled 365 resolutions to close criminal proceedings, gave 2771 written instructions, revealed and and registered in the Register 14 not registered criminal offenses, and 156 officers of the police, the Security Security and the Ministry of Income were disciplined under the documents of prosecutor’s response.

Over six months, 6738 criminal offenses were registered in the Unified register of pre-trial investigations.

The rate per 10 thousand people is 53.6 criminal offenses, which is one of the lowest rate in the country.

The share of heinous crimes is 1.8%, at the level of the last year.

The number of criminal offenses against human life and health decreased by 21.7%, their share is 14%, which is much less than the last year’s 20%, including 14 obvious murders against 15 in the last year, or 6.7% less

The trend towards decrease by 14.3% is recorded in violations of rules of traffic or operation of vehicles that caused the victim’s death, by 13.6% – in robberies, by 23.5% – in apartment thefts.

43 criminal offenses for evasion of mobilization were registered, in 30 or 69.8% of which persons have been notified of being suspected, and in 25 or 58.1% indictments have sent to courts.

In 3230 criminal offenses, including criminal offenses of past years, persons have been served notice of suspicion, which is 18.3% more than that in the last year.
