What and when has to be done to become a student was discussed in Uzhgorod

The press conference on the entrance campaign peculiarities was held in the press center ‘Zakarpattia’ today, June 14. Vasyl Telep, head of the Higher Education and Science Sector of the Regional State Administration Department of Education and Science, Maryna Kiiak, Transcarpathian Art Institute pro rector of the academic work, the member of the selection committee, Vasyl Kabatsii, Mukachevo State University pro rector of the academic work took part in the meeting.

So, it is possible to submit documents for admission to the higher educational establishment already from July 2 to July 31. The documents’ submission will be held to July 29 for those specialties which require a creative competition or an entrance examination. This year’s university entrants will have an opportunity to pass registration via internet. It is necessary to be sure of the chosen profession licenses presence before the documents’ submission in order to get diploma without problems in the future. The entrance examination program can be found on the establishments’ websites.

The peculiarity of this year’s entrance campaign is that the minimum score from the profiled subject is 140 points. Rating lists should appear on universities’ websites and message boards on August 1 at 12 a.m.

University entrants will be able to submit documents to 5 higher educational institutions on 3 specialties in each. The students’ admission will be held until August 25. University entrants should submit originals of documents by this time. Privileges for orphans and I and II disability group children will be valid, but they will constitute 25% of the total public procurement.

According to Maryna Kiiak, documents’ submitting to the Transcarpathian Art Institute will be held until July 17 that is connected with the creative competitions’ holding. The preparatory courses to the creative competitions that will last for three weeks will be held starting from June 25.
