Volodymyr Chubirko on the deputies’ appeal: “It is important to save the life of a soldier”

The Regional Council Chairman Volodymyr Chubirko considers it appropriate to have adopted the appeal to the leadership of the country demanding to immediately take all possible measures to save th 128th separate mountain infantry brigade and lives of the soldiers. 

"Last night, the situation was very difficult. I personally spoke with our soldiers and their relatives. In the evening, I sent a telegram to the President requesting to take all measures to save the lives of our soldiers. Last night, the deputies initiated convening of the session, signatures were promptly collected. It is extremely important that the vast majority of the soldeirs have broken out of the entrapment.   The most important thing is to save the lives of the defenders. The second question is to the General Staff: how did this situation become possible. Two weeks ago, the local government appealed to the state management and warned about this risk. No measures were taken, although it was clear that there would be entrapment. I am sure that there will be a reaction to our today’s decision" – the Chairman of the Regional Council said.
