Video about Subcarpathian Rus (Transcarpathia)

There are may photos of the beginning of the twentieth century in Transcarpathia, but the video from Subcarpathian Rus dated from 1924 is unique in its own way. 

The video was posted on Facebook by Transcarpathian Heritage. The film was preserved by the NFA (Národní filmový archiv). 

The main subjects of the film: the Uzh river valley, Nevytske, Dubrynychi, Uzhok, Volosyanka, Maly Berezny, the border, the houses in Subarpathian Rus. The chronicle was filmed by the Czechs. There are a lot of landscape shots in the film; different generations of Transcarpathians.   

Also, the Czechs filmed the church of St. Michael in the village of Uzhok, a village cemetery. They also show the everyday life of Transcarpathians, their homes.
