Victor Baloha: “The government should stop playing the “Olympics”

The government of Ukraine approved a feasibility study for the "Olympic Hope – 2022" project. The document has been developed by the State Agency for National Projects Management.
Lviv is pronounced the capital of Winter Olympics Games Ukraine bids for. Hockey, curling, skating, freestyle, short track and figure skating tournaments are scheduled to be held in Lviv, and ski jumping, duel, biathlon, ski racing and snowboarding – in Tysovets (Lviv region). In Borzhava (Transcarpathian region) competitions in Alpine skiing are planned to be held.
According to the head of the State agency Kaskiv domestic investors so far have not expressed any interest. The Agency are negotiating with representatives of China. Project will be managed by the Deputy Prime Minister Boris Kolesnikov, appointed as the coordinator of the bid to host the Winter Olympics 2022.
Victor Baloha on his page on the social network Facebook criticized the idea of ​​the contest in Ukraine.  "The government should stop playing the "Olympics" – he said. – Because it is just a waste of millions of dollars for "concept" and "projects" that will never be implemented."
