Victims of the Second World War were commemorated in Uzhgorod (PHOTOS)

Today, on the Day of mourning and commemorating war victims, representatives of the Uzhgorod City Council, Transcarpathian regional organization of veterans, Uzhgorod city organization of veterans of Ukraine, veterans of war, city residents commemorated the victims with a minute of silence and laid flowers to the Memorial on the Hill of Glory.
On June 22, 1941, before dawn, Nazi troops attacked the Soviet Union, starting the war, which became one of the most tragic pages in the history of Ukraine.
