Vasyl Kukhta will present new books “Passion for the Blue Rose” and “Going and not looking back” (Announcement)

On Monday, May 16, at 14.00, at the Uzhgorod Press Club, there will be a presentation of new books of Vasyl Kukhta – known poet and journalist, laureate of many literary awards.

 In the book of poems "Passion for the Blue Rose" (Lviv, 2016), as well as in previous ones, visions of the past and the present are closely intertwined, such remarkable features of the author’s creative style, as looseness of thought, psychology, "historicism" of thought, the ability to tell about new phenomena with new words, are manifested in full force. The main themes of the publicistic book "Going and not looking back" (Lviv, 2015) are European paths of Ukraine, interethnic and international communication, secrets of unknown lands, anecdotes from many years of journalistic practice.

The event will feature songs with the lyrics by Vasyl Kukhta performed by People’s Artist of Ukraine Maria Zubanych, Honored Artist of Ukraine Oksana Ilnytska and young singers.
