"I invite all voters of Transcarpathia to come to the polls and exercise their right to vote, and to do it honestly and responsibly," – the head of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration Vasyl Hubal called.
He stressed that some European countries can afford minimal turnout at polling stations, but currently Ukraine can not afford it. "Because we have to vote not just for a particular party or candidate, we have to vote for the preservation of the country" – Vasyl Hubal said. The head of the region emphasized: "The media, religious communities and local activists should invite countrymen to come and vote, vote fairly."
Commenting on the issue of information regarding vote buying (or attempts to buy votes), the head of the region said: "If there is such evidence, you must contact the police and write statements to the electoral commission, inform observers. I emphasize this problem to law enforcement agencies. However, voters themselves should be mature and not let tarnish their votes." "I do not understand those voters who sell their votes. And I ask Transcarpathians not to succumb to provocations, not to succumb to vote buying" – the head of the region emphasizes.
"I hope that elections will take place peacefully and within the law, and I ask everyone to be careful and support Ukraine, our independence and our freedom. And, of course, I encourage everyone to come to the polls and to vote conscientiously" – Vasyl Hubal said.
