Vartsaba was surprised by the question about MP Kovacs’s son-in-law and journalist injured by him

"The criminal proceeding has been opened. The investigation is underway. Everything will be fine there" – the head of the Office of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in Transcarpathian region Vasyl Vartsaba promised, commenting on the attack of MP Vasyl Kovacs’s son-in-law Vasyl Kozak on the journalist Larysa Romanyuk in Chornoholova.

When asked whether at least the identity of the attacker had been established, Mr. Vartsaba was surprised: "The name is known. The journalist herself reported it."

Earlier, the police reported that they were establishing the identity of the attacker.
