Uzhgorod will join the Hour of Code for the first time (Announcement)

On Wednesday, December 9, at 12.00, in Uzhgorod Press Club, there will be a meeting, the main theme of which will be the global educational campaign HOUR OF CODE to be held in Uzhgorod within the COMPUTER SCIENCE EDUCATION WEEK on 7-13 of December. 

Hour of Code is a global event that attracts tens of millions of students in more than 180 countries. The one-hour course is available in more than 40 languages. Without any requirements. For all people aged 4 to 104. Hour of Code events are held around the world, including 173 in Ukraine.

This year, Uzhgorod secondary school №3 with intensive study of English language joined the Hour of Code events with the support of the NGO "Omega-Defense" and its educational project "The school of career counseling for children and teens TEEN LEADER (we are on the global map of the Hour of Code: https://hourofcode.com/ua)

The participants of the meeting:

– Tetyana Buturlakina, the director of the "Omega-Defense," the founder and the director of the School of career counseling for children and teens TEEN LEADER, the chairman of the committee on education, science, culture and spiritual development of the Public Council at the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration

– Svitlana Fesenko, the director of Uzhgorod specialized school №3 with intensive study of English language

– Oleksandr Bilak, the deputy mayor of Uzhgorod

– Victoria Rohachenko, Event & PR manager of the company "ThinkMobiles"
