The conditions of "especially important places" in Uzhgorod were captured by journalist Vitaliy Glagola.
Those are the roads that are used, among other things, in health-related emergency situations.
Posting the photos, Vitaliy wrote:
"Entrance roads to the regional hospital and the TB clinic. Vehicles just cannot drive in. Layers of ice and huge snowdrifts.
Here is an ambulance that cannot drive to the TB clinic, and on the other one, two ambulances cannot make way for one another at the exit from the regional hospital – the vehicle is "trapped" in the ice ruts.
I wonder, if a patient dies in an ambulance, will the say that he should have come out and cleaned the road near hospital, if he wanted to live?"
