However it is not the original, but a copy of the mini-monument.
Today, the author of The Good Soldier Mykhailo Kolodko together with a group of Uzhgorod journalists and activists left to the city of Humenne in Slovakia.
The trip is dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the outbreak of the First World War and the day of solidarity. The point is that now that Ukraine is on the verge of war, Ukrainians want to express solidarity with Slovaks, however not the solidarity of the working people, but a common desire for peace.
The inscription, which symbolizes the trip, was made on one of the benches on Petofi square.
"1914-2014 Soldier, who brings peace."
A copy of the Uzhgorod figure, which is placed on the railing of Kyiv embankment, went to Humenne together with the sculptor.
