Uzhgorod saved more than a million on health care

As reported at the meeting of the executive committee, the "optimization" of healthcare industry in the city has achieved significant results. 

56 hospital beds, as well as 86.5 healthcare jobs have been eliminated. Thus, they saved 277,600 UAH on salaries.Meanwhile, the mayor complains: Uzhgorod District State Administration do not pay the city for treatment of the district residents. Transfers are not paid, requests remain without answer. And they owe a lot of money. The management of Uzhgorod district will be invited to the next meeting of the Executive Committee to discuss this issue.
