In the Transcarpathian Regional Universal Scientific Library, there was a creative meeting with Ternopil writer Irina Matsko, who presented her collection "Spinach for the Brain", and master of the first professional sand animation studio Oksana Merhut showed sand animation with the author’s spinach works.
"Spinach for the Brain" is a real creative laboratory. The author masterfully describes details, relishes them. This helps readers look at the world at different perspective. An inner spiritual beacon will be lit up inside everyone who is ready to embark on a spiritual journey and read these texts. The title of the book is deeply symbolic. It refers to the intellectual "spinach": we have to remember about the right choice, about overcoming loneliness, about crumbs of happiness in everyday life, about faith, after all, and gratitude for each passing day, and also about the ability to enjoy life.
The uniqueness of the book is that it can be read randomly. The writer uses the menu for the content, dishes for chapters. At the end of every dish Irina reveals her secrets of life. According to Irina Matsko, regular consumption of the "Spinach for the Brain" slows down aging of the brain and reduces the devastating impact of negative thoughts, fills a person with power and energy.
During the presentation, master of the first professional sand animation studio Oksana Merhut illustrated Irina Matsko’s works with very interesting sand animation. In addition, the author conducted a psychological game with the guests of the event. All visitors received improvised spinach leaves with different states of the human psyche described in her book. The participants of the event had to show without words the state of mind which they have got.
At the end of the evening, Irina Matsko and librarians prepared vegetarian spinach burritos and treated all those present.
