Uzhgorod residents are improving the city without waiting for public utilities

Increasingly often, residents of Uzhgorod decide to clean up the streets and otherwise improve their city by themselves, not relying on the public services. An example of such generosity was described in the Facebook community "Uzhgorod" by the user Vasya Vitushinsky.

He wrote: "I would like to share with you a human act, which I saw today with my own eyes. I was going to the hospital, passing through Lavrischev street. And I saw an old man with big nippers trimming branches on the roadside. I was a bit surprised and I asked him whether he was sent by the government or just doing for himself, and he said that he had been maintaining the roadside for quite a long time now. Because otherwise it would have been impossible to walk there, the main road is all pits."

As a proof, the user posted photos of Lavrischev street and noted that such behavior of an old man should be an example for the city government.
