Innovation in the Uzhgorod battalion of the 2nd Galician Brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine. From now on, guards are able to polish up their skills in the newly built "killer house". The guards will train to inspect the premises and detain offenders.
"Killer houses" or "shoot houses" are widely used in the army and police of many countries, in particular in the United States and Europe. The structure is a mock house, with many entrances, exits and rooms. In such buildings, you can even use weapons to train to fight in a closed room.
This time, the guardsmen were using paintball markers during training to create the most realistic environment. "Today we even rehearsed how to properly open the door to the premises where a criminal could be, – Captain Roman Stenitsky says, – because there are several ways and, in different cases, they can be either effective or not. In general, such an innovation will improve the training process, and the results of training can be seen later."
