Uzhgorod Fashion Day demonstrated the best Ukrainian designers’ collections

Uzhgorod Fashion Day with the leading Ukrainian designers’ participation, the members of the Ukrainian Fashion Week was held in Uzhgorod on June 1. The Transcarpathian, Lviv and Ivano-Frankivsk designers also participated in the fashion show, which took place in the hotel ‘Europe’.

As the chief Uzhgorod Fashion Day organizer Vlad Lakatosh told, this event in Uzhgorod is the national analogue of the annual ‘pret-a-porter’ weeks, which are held in Kiev, Moscow, Paris, Milan, London, New York and other capitals. The project’s aim is the creation of the competitive fashion center of European level with the entire accompanying infrastructure and the promotion of light industry in Uzhgorod, but the support of new designers and implementation of the famous European designer brands on the Ukrainian markets is the main idea.
