Uzhgorod deputies will no longer be directors of housing areas – Kovalsky and Oksyon were fired

Directors of several Uzhgorod housing areas, namely number 1, 5 and 8 will be fired. Those are Nadiya Petrishka, Anatoliy Kovalsky and Yuriy Oksyon.

Also, the director of the Bozdosh park will be fired.

This was decided at today’s meeting of the executive committee of Uzhgorod City Council.

The Acting Mayor Victor Shchadey says that they have not been doing their job properly. Whether the municipal rotation will affect others for now is an open question.

Among those fired, there are deputies of Uzhgorod City Council Kovalsky (known developer in the city) and Oksyon, the director of the Housing Area 8.

As you know, the former mayor of Uzhgorod Victor Pogorelov gave those profitable jobs to deputies to make them vote as it suited him. Obviously, now they are breaking this scheme.
