Uzhgorod cognacs entered the world’s most prestigious collections

In French capital, the headquarters of the International Organization of Vine and Wine (IOVW), which already unites 45 countries, for the first time presented tasting samples of Ukrainian wine production of Wine Enterprises Corporation "Ukrwineprom."

Ukrainian official delegation headed by the Vice-President "Ukrwineprom", CEO of the corporation "Zakarpatsadvynprom", Director of "Uzhgorod cognac factory" Volodymyr Hisem.

Overall 26 samples of national wine production, produced by five companies, including Uzhgorod cognac factory were presented in Paris. 

After the presentation the best samples of leading Ukrainian wine products defined by the authoritative expertswere solemnly transferred to enotek (wines) of IOVW. And this, according to the director of the International Organization of Vine and Wine Federico Castellucci, means that wine and brandy from Ukraine will have high ranks on shelves of the enotek in Paris and please the vision of another generation of its visitors. "This is a recognition of the high quality and even unique character Ukrainian wines.Your product was created in special climatic conditions inherent in the south of Ukraine and Transcarpathian region. These conditions and production technology – a kind of emblem of success and protection against counterfeiting, "- says Mr. Castellucci.

Note: for the last 90 years neither the Soviet Union nor any of its republics had such an honor to present their wine production at the headquarters IOVW.
