Uzhgorod city council supported the renovation of the rock garden

The hotly debated reconstruction of the favorite parts of the city – the rock garden – was approved at the meeting of the Executive Committee.

In order to consider the project "Renovation of the unique rock garden", an extraordinary meeting of the Executive Committee was convened. This was reported from the City Council.

The mayor Bohdan Andriyiv noted that the implementation of the project funded by a charitable foundation on the eve of the Day of Uzhgorod was a positive coincidence, and it would be great if they manage to complete the work before the celebrations. However, if not, the project implementation will continue, because the most important thing is to ensure that everything is done properly.

Members of the Executive Committee unanimously supported the permit for the project "Renovation of the unique rock garden."

Recall that the City Planning Board decided that the project should be implemented with certain adjustments and restrictions to preserve the authenticity of the rock garden. In particular, there should not be a playground there and not as many cobblestone-paved zones as was provided initially.
