Uzhgorod city council says that residents of the historical neighbourhood, who are carrying out repairs, have the permission

According to the chief architect of Uzhgorod, Oleg Borshovsky, the finishing works on the facades of the residential house at Dovzhenko st., 5, in Uzhgorod are being conducted by the tenants.

In accordance with the historical architectural master plan of Uzhgorod, the house at Dovzhenko st., 5 is located on the territory of the city historical area, as part of the historical complex Maly Galagov – a monument of local importance.

Taking into account the aforementioned, in 2017, the passport for facade finishing was approved by the Department of Urban Development and Architecture of Uzhgorod City Council and the Department of Culture of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration.
It involves the repair of the plaster, paintwork, repair and restoration of windows and doors, replacement of the roof, drainpipes and gutters, installation of mansard windows.

The installation of fences and scaffolding was carried out in accordance with the construction scaffolding design for facade finishing developed by the "Architectural and planning bureau".
Cutting of old trees was approved by the Department of Municipal Economy.
