Uzhgorod city council denies the information about the quarantine at schools

The information spread by some sites that schools in Uzhgorod are closed because of rising incidence of influenza and ARVI is not true. Somebody took last year’s report on quarantine measures and presented it as "fresh sensation." 

According to the health department, over the past two weeks, the incidence of ARVI has decreased, among children of 5 to 14 years – by 36% and among children of 15 to 17 years – by 17%. So, closing of schools is not necessary. Constant monitoring of lesson attendance shows that the number of absent students in Uzhgorod schools does not exceed an average of 7%. 
Therefore, Uzhgorod city authorities inform: school continues.
