Uzhgorod bribe-taking deputy was expelled from the “UDAR”

As uzhgorod.in has reported, yesterday a deputy of Uzhgorod City Council was detained for bribe taking. As it became known, it was Maria Zilhalova who received the deputy mandate as a member of the "UDAR." 

However, the woman was expelled from this party about a year ago. This was reported by the press service of the "UDAR".

"The woman was excluded because Mrs. Zihalova was acting counter to the interests of the party. Now she is in the parliamentary group of Andriy Pogorelov, "For the development of Uzhgorod", and has little interest in initiatives of the former party members" – said the representative of the "UDAR", a City Council deputy Rostislav Bulanov.

Yesterday the deputy of Uzhgorod city council was arrested while receiving a part of the bribe – 4,000 dollars. An entrepreneur had reported to law enforcement officers that the deputy demanded from him 5,000 dollars for assistance in obtaining a land plot in the city center. Allegedly it was the deputy of Uzhgorod City Council Maria Zilhalova. Currently, the detainee is held in Uzhgorod remand prison.
