Uzhgorod bookstore invites…

The return to the traditions of good celebration! One of the oldest Uzhgorod bookshops launches special kind of celebration.

Because any holiday is, above all, a circle of like-minded people, atmosphere of benevolence, new knowledge! It is this, according to the owner of the "Knyharnya" bookstore (formerly "Bukinist") Julietta Feskova, that all people are lacking now. Because events with the participation of writers, book lovers, in libraries, shops or just on squares show an increase of interest in books. Once Ukrainians were regarded as the most reading nation. And it is very good that this tradition comes back. Uzhgorod book lovers decided to join this process, and the new campaign was initiated by our fellow, Shevchenko Prize winner, writer Miroslav Dochynets.

The idea presented by Dochynets to the "Knyharnya" is expressed in the call "Choose a book – make a mood for yourself", which is suitable to any situation in life. So, during the holidays, the "Knyharnya" invites famous people: writers, publishers, journalists, financiers, doctors, librarians, and everyone willing – to help readers in choosing the book: for reading, as a gift, and after all – for the mood!

So, the campaign in the "Knyharnya" (Tolstoy Street, 4, opposite the Foxtrot) kicks off on December 19, on St.  Nicholas Day, at 10.00. So, come to the bookstore, and choose a book for youself! And if you want to become a sales assistant these days, come, get acquainted, and work! Let’s make a festive mood together!
