Uzhgorod authorities determined places for swimming in the Uzh

The city government plans to arrange a beach for swimming on the Uzh bank. It is proposed to define a vacationing place for the city residents near the children’s railway, within Botanichna embankment on the right bank of the river in area of one thousand square meters

The relevant decision will be adopted at the next meeting of the executive committee. The water utility will be tasked to ensure timely maintenance of restrooms within the specified location. The department of municipal economy will be responsible for the maintenance of the beach.

Prior to the opening of the swimming season, the bottom of the Uzh river near the designated recreation sites will be examined.

Meanwhile, the city government plans to ban swimming in other locations, boating, the use of water entertainment means within the city limits.
