This is what the Uzh looks like – in the colors of the national flag – in the city center, when it gets dark. 
The pedestrian bridge is illuminated with diode lamps. They emit a blue light which in combination with the warm yellow light of the lamps creates the desired effect.
City residents joke that now it will be easier for ships on the Uzh to determine the height of the bridge. And post photos. Also they stress that if the election campaign lasted longer, maybe Uzhgorod would have received more gifts… Because the illumination of the bridge was suddenly installed on the initiative of one of the candidates for the mayor. Thanking for this, townspeople post funny pictures asking to love the city all the time, and not only before elections…
