United Center demands to stop ballot-rigging in the scandalous 71th constitunecy

Statement of the United Center requesting to stop the criminal acts of election fraud in the constituency number 71 in favor of the Party of Regions member S.Derkach.

"Despite government efforts in any way to push through a candidate of the Party of Regions, the election was won with a preference about a thousand votes by the member of the United Center Pavlo Baloha. These results have been confirmed by the decision of the constituency election commission and published on the CEC web site.

Willing to steal the election at any cost, the Party of Regions filed the claim with the court. However, the electoral commission, despite being under constant control and pressure from the management of the regional and district state administration, still has not satisfied the plans of the Party of Regions to completely distort the election results in favor of their candidate Stepan Derkach.

So now the ballot-riggers from the government are trying to replace five undesirable members of the constituency election commission. According to their scenario, the new members will be: Stepan Derkach’s driver Uhlyai Yevhen, mother-in-law of the same candidate Shyn Valentina, and Lendyel Irina, the wife of the head of the economic department of Khust DSA.

Given that the Commission is headed by the daughter of the head of Khust DSA, it will be not the election commission but the exemplary party organization of the Party of Regions, who will do everything they are ordered.

The United Center demands to stop lawlessness, dirty pressure on election commission members and the electoral process.

We believe that such cynical, illegal actions discredit Ukrainian authorities, prejudice the legality and fairness of elections and undermine the credibility of Ukraine as a legal and democratic state."
