Unifiers of Transcarpathia will receive 300 UAH bonus to pensions

The delegates of the First Congress of People’s Committees of Transcarpathian Ukraine will be receiving 300 UAH monthly allowances to pensions.  The allowances will be financed from the regional budget, under the program "Care". Currently, 9 of 663 delegates in the region are still alive.

Reference: November 26, 1944, in Mukachevo, there was the first Congress of People’s Committees of Transcarpathian Ukraine. At the meeting, they adopted the Manifesto of reunion of Transcarpathian Ukraine with Soviet Ukraine. After that date, the history of Transcarpathia, which prior to that had been part of Austria-Hungary, Hungary, and Czechoslovakia, became inseparable from the history of Ukraine.
