Under the prosecutors’ claim, 5 hectares of land in Mizhhirya district have been returned to the state

Thanks to the principled position of the prosecutor’s office at Lviv Economic Court of Appeal, the decision to invalidate the decision of the Repynne village council in Mizhhirya district and the lease agreement for the land in total area of ​​5 hectares and worth more than UAH 1.5 million was taken.

 
In the court, the prosecutors confirmed their arguments that the village council had exceeded its powers, since this land is outside the settlement, and therefore the right to dispose of it belongs to Transcarpathian Regional State Administration.

In addition, the said plot is the agricultural land, but it was rented out to an entrepreneur for the construction of a hotel and tourist complex without changing of its purpose.
