“Unauthorized” terraces in Uzhgorod will be dismantled

The deputy head of the municipal police department Oleksandr Lozan told the newspaper "Uzhgorod" that employees of the department have made many reports on violations of urban planning rules by owners of terraces in the city. In particular, it concerns lack of trash bins, messy territory or lack of agreement on garbage collection. But the most attention is paid to the legitimacy of the installed terraces and their area.

Such violations entail administrative liability in the form of a fine from 850 to 1700 UAH. If an entrepreneur installs a terrace without authorization and continues working without permit, then the terrace will be dismantled.

Overall, since the beginning of the year, 43 businesses have received approvals to install terraces.
